Editorial : State of the Union Address

Remember in 2008 when a lot of people recognized the words "hard choices" as things that we all needed to do to make the economy better again. It's now 2011, and once again we hear the words "hard choices" and this time...

Advice on Stuff : Selling in a down economy
Posted by rampdog on 2010/6/9 8:08:43 (103 reads)

Sharks hunt for prey by finding movement in the water or blood. In today's economy you can often find people mistakenly adopt a "shark" sales mentality. They feel they need to circle out there and surround customers by getting to them first. First smell of blood in the water and they go for it.

Advice on Stuff : Saving Money on Your Gas
Posted by rampdog on 2010/5/27 12:09:52 (140 reads)

One of the most difficult things to do is to save money on gasoline...or so most of us think. In fact, I am willing to venture that most of us spend a considerable amount of time in our vehicles (perhaps more than we would like to admit. Editorial : Politics has never been so bad, why?
Posted by rampdog on 2010/5/25 11:14:54 (140 reads)

Seems funny to me, what is happening all over the country in politics... or should I say manure flinging. As much as I would dare call myself a republican, my views are not so far to one side that I cannot see the forest through the trees, or can I?

Editorial : Theatre is lucky to be here.
Posted by rampdog on 2011/1/19 22:42:21 (231 reads)

After reading an article in the Watertown Daily Times tonight about the theatre being able to re-open due to obtaining a Liquer Liscense I was somewhat taken back by the folks who opposed this liscense. The reasons they gave were so invalid it made me wonder what side they were actually on. The other point I think was not made because it was a non-biased article(and well written by Adam Tobias I might add) is how the aldermen in this city really sometimes miss the boat in terms of economic development. Now I am no economist but can honestly tell you that Watertown needs help...

World News and Daily Headlines : Lenders failed takeover of real estate, causes theft from taxpayers.
Posted by rampdog on 2010/6/6 8:39:41 (149 reads)

Each of us as taxpayers has shouldered the burdens of some of the largest banks in the entire free(and not so free) world, so why now are banks which were bailed out back to huge profits?

The answer is not so simple and most banks don't want to discuss things like buybacks and toxic assets, what they have done is...

Personalized Wedding Receptions Ideas - Go With The Flow

Author: Helen Cunningham

Planning a wedding reception is a tricky task from the outset, the main task being picking the ideal venue to showcase the perfect San Diego wedding, and then follow the other decisions such as the entertainment, table arrangements and of course, catering.
